Most of us brush our teeth with regular toothpaste, but when stains start to appear, many are looking for alternative means to make their teeth whiter once more. Although there are teeth whiteners available in pharmacies, an alternative method to consider is to use baking soda for teeth. Fortunately, Fresh Aid natural toothpaste contains baking soda too as well as other helpful ingredients to keep your teeth white and healthy.

What Are the Effects of Baking Soda for Teeth?

Brushing teeth with baking soda has been done for centuries especially since commercial toothpastes haven’t been invented back then.

The American Dental Association has approved of several toothpastes that contain baking soda so it is not unusual why many prefer to use baking soda directly on their teeth.

Baking soda for teeth is common for whitening as its mild abrasive texture can help remove the stains from your teeth. You can even use baking soda and peroxide for teeth for deeper cleaning, but some may find this mixture to be a bit strong hence it may not be appropriate for those who have sensitive teeth.

However, you should also consider baking soda teeth whitening dangers since too much use of this abrasive can affect the enamel of your teeth. This is the same concept when brushing teeth with salt since its texture can be too rough on your teeth.

If you are going to use baking soda for teeth, make sure that you use it a few times per month or every couple of months.
